The owners of Efstidalur II are the husband and wife Snæbjörn and Björg. Snæbjörn is born and raised in Efstidalur and Björg is from Njarðvík (near Keflavík airport). The same family has lived on the farm since 1850. Their main occupation is cattle farming, tourism and horse breeding.
Opening hours
Winter (15th sept – 15th may)
Sunday-Thursday 9:00 – 22:00 (Kitchen is open til 20:00)
Friday and Saturday 9:00 – 23:00 (Kitchen is open til 21:00)
Summer (16th May – 14th Sept)
The restaurant is open every day: 8:00 – 23:00 (Kitchen is open til 21:00)
The Icecream barn is open every day: 9:00 – 23:00 (Kitchen is open til 21:00)
